Seketika waktu seakan mati membeku
Jika hanya dengan melihat kedua bola mata mu
perempuan ini jatuh penuh takjub.
bagaimana jika ruang di hatimu dikosongkan untuknya?


Mencintai-mu ini datang tanpa alasan
Betapapun rumit bagi yang tak pernah merasakan.

Jika mencintai-mu begitu saja tanpa mengapa?
mungkinkah kehilanganmu pun tak berbekas tanya tanda tanya?


Bila perihal mencinta datang dengan alasan-alasan.
mungkinkah kepergian-mu mudah dengan berbagai alasan?


Oleh sebab dia mencintai-mu
dia mengasihi tanpa ingin tahu alasan
padahal dia tahu;
betapa banyak alasan untuk terus mendambamu.
