Seribu Purnama


Di sudut langit malam yang ambigu;
Ada pagelaran rasa yang terus digugu;
Tentang hikayat rindu yang pilu,
Alkisah Orion kepada Sirius-nya.

Ada pula aroma karsa tersibak dalam renjana;
Terhadap serigala langit malam itu.
Sirius-- Dia tak jua sudi siuman dari kesepiannya;
Pelipur lara-nya tak terselami;
Apakah keluh-mu sang bintang?

Dari Orion dan Renjana-nya
Dalam semangat juang untuk perihal mustahilnya;
Jejak tatih melipat jarak diantara mereka-
Sang pemburu terlalu rindu untuk sekedar menyerah; terlalu mencintai untuk mencoba abai.

Sejak beratus-ratus purnama yang terlewati;
Sampai beribu-ribu purnama yang akan terjadi,
Orion masih berniat kekeuh merindu;
Rela merajam mega untuk sebuah temu;
Melupakan sejenak definisi mustahil;
Mengabaikan juga ketetapan alam semesta.
